Hi, I'm Katie Okay π
Who Am I
I'm a front-end software engineer - currently working from Seoul.
I studied accounting and finance at the London School of Economics (LSE). Then, I started my career at Korea's largest commercial bank.
In 2016, I decided to pivot from finance and moved to San Francisco to learn the basics of software development - it was the best decision of my life!
Since then, I've worked at multiple companies in Korea, specializing on front-end development.
Currently, I am managing the development of an ad management platform for LINE - Japan's largest messaging app.
When signed-off Slack, I have been learning how to build on blockchain. Currently, I'm building a Dapp using solidity on the Ethereum blockchain.
On the weekends, I enjoy cooking (see here). I also like to make IG videos of my adventures here in Korea.
